Ueno Nights is the brainchild of London based songwriter, producer and drummer Nick Westcott.
After over a decade perched on the drum stool touring and recording with various bands Westcott moved to the producers chair. Learning from numerous producers in studios across London and Kent, 2019 saw Westcott embark on a songwriting spree that utilised to the full all he had learnt over many studio sessions.
Armed with a tiny little synth and not a lot else his new project started to take shape throughout the year. The collection of songs started to grow and quickly became the Ueno Nights debut album 'Nocturnal Animals'
With a love for electronic acts such as Massive Attack, Unkle, DJ Shadow as well as a passion for Alt rock the album is a fusion of many styles and a soundtrack to a lost night.
